Hello my name is Jules Parker, the owner and designer at The Cottage Heart.
After gaining the Professional Interior Design
Diploma with The National Design Academy in 2003, and loving how a home can be
transformed with vintage and handcrafted pieces, I decided to bring my joy and
passion to the web.
The Cottage Heart is based on a simple idea to
offer an ever growing range of beautiful handmade and vintage pieces for you
and your home.
From the first blooms of spring right through to
the crisp wondrous days of winter, I love to journey around the many vintage
sales and shops that are abundant throughout the lovely county of Sussex, where
I am based. Finding beautiful vintage treasures, heirlooms and keepsakes to add
to the website and use in my designs.
From my home in Sussex at the foot of the South
Downs National Park, I bring you Country Style, Handmade and Vintage pieces,
for everyone that has a love for cottage, shabby chic or vintage inspired
interiors and homes.
Handcrafted pieces, vintage florals, linens,
floral china and cottage gifts are all available to purchase, plus fill your
home with cottage scents made from Dried Rose Hips, Dried Rosemary, Cinnamon
Sticks and locally gathered and collected Pine Cones.
